I am so happy that I learned this secret to easy hulling from my step mom. All you have to do is poke em’ with a straw! You start at the bottom of the strawberry, push the straw up, and the stem and white bit just pop right up!

My girls think it is quite fun, & my middle girl wanted to just keep going, even after hulling 10 lbs with me. I said “Wow, honey, you are quite the hard worker” She said “yup, as long as I have gum in my mouth”??? I guess blowing bubbles while hulling strawberries is her thing.

When it’s Strawberry Pickin’ Time at Miller Farms Market, it’s time for:. Pick-Your-Own—The patch will close this Saturday, June 17. Come out and strawberries in our 3 acre strawberry patch. We offer free parking, free admission, park at the patch convenience, and free fresh air. Containers are provided. The Strawberry patch is located across the road from our Market by the greenhouses. Park at the patch, get your containers from the Red Hut, watch your children, pick your berries, check out at the Market on our Farm!
PLEASE watch your children, especially crossing the road. Orange Plank Rd is a very busy road. Berries in the Market—Stop by the market and pick up a quart or two (or three!) of strawberries.
