I am not sure if this is an application problem with Corel Draw 8 or a compatibility issue with XP. I just bought a new PC with XP on it.
My old system was running ME. Everything works except Corel Draw 8.
It seems OK except when I try to down load a clipart off the second disk that came with Corel Draw. It has clipart with a file ext. Of.CDR on the disk in folders. When I attempt a download, the CD runs, and I can open the files down to the folder level.
When I double click on the folder icon, it shuts down Corel Draw 8. If I just put the CD in and go to Run and browse, I can get to the folder level, but can't browse the files. It's as if XP won't recognize the file extension.CDR. I have searched diligently in the Corel readme files.
